1. Who DOES this GDPR privacy statement apply to?
1.1 Eutracking Group (“EuTracking” or “We”) is an international port-infrastructure company that develops, operates, and manages global maritime supply-chain solutions for international customers in target industry sectors.
Eutracking operates and manages a network of port terminals in strategic locations across Europe and Asia. Our group consists of several companies (“the Eutracking Companies”) that process personal data.
1.2 This GDPR Privacy Statement applies to the processing of personal data:
- by all Eutracking companies established in the European Union, regardless of whether the processing takes place in the Union or not;
- by all Eutracking companies established outside the European Union, insofar as they process personal data of data subjects who are in the Union in the framework of:
- the offering of goods or services to such data subjects in the Union;
- the monitoring of their behaviour as far as their behaviour takes place within the Union.
1.3 All Eutracking Companies are separate and independent legal entities. Depending on the processing activity in the context of which your personal data are processed, they may be qualified as a separate data controller or a joint controller with one or more of the other Eutracking Companies. None of the Eutracking companies have any liability for the other Eutracking Companies’ acts or omissions.
1.4 We want to be a great company. To achieve that goal, we are committed to working in the right way. We are committed to protecting your privacy and processing your personal data openly and transparently, in particular concerning the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 (“GDPR”).

2. What is covered by this GDPR Privacy STATEMENT?
2.1 With this GDPR Privacy Statement we would like to inform you about why and how we process your personal data when we perform our business activities or when you use our website (“the Site”) and any of the services we offer through the Sites, who we give that information to, what your rights are and who you can contact for more information or queries.
2.2 When we refer to “the Site”, we mean the webpages with a URL commencing https://www.eu-tracking.com/. However, by way of derogation, this GDPR Privacy Statement does not apply to webpages on the “Careers” section of the Site allowing you to apply for job openings (Vacancies). These webpages are subject to our separate Privacy Notice for job applicants.

3. Why do we use your data

9.2.1 How do we protect your privacy?
To protect your privacy and to comply with the applicable data protection legislation, we have taken the following measures:
- We have entered into a data processing agreement with Google. Under this agreement, Google will only act as a data processor concerning the data of website visitors. Consequently, Google will not use the data for its purposes.
- We have enabled IP masking. This means that the last octet of your IP address is removed before its use and storage (e.g. 123 987 XXX).
- We have specified in our Google Analytics settings that no data are shared for Google’s purposes such as benchmarking, the improvement of other products and services (as also stipulated in the data processing agreement).
- We have ensured that other services of Google will not be used in combination with the Google Analytics cookies and that no data can be used for advertising purposes.

9.2.2 Rejection of Google Analytics

10. Security of your data
10.1 Your data are stored on local Eutracking’ owned servers. We employ strict technical and organizational (security) measures to protect your information from access by unauthorised persons and against unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction, and damage both online and offline.
These measures include:
- Training to relevant staff to ensure they are aware of our privacy obligations when handling personal data;
- Administrative and technical controls to restrict access to personal data on a “need to know” basis (passwords);
- Technological security measures, including firewalls, encryption, and anti-virus software;
- Login access blocks in case of loss or theft of devices;
- Physical security measures, such as staff security badges to access our premises.
10.2 Although we use appropriate security measures once we have received your personal data, the transmission of data – especially over the internet (including by e-mail) – is never completely secure. We endeavour to protect personal data, but we cannot guarantee the security of data transmitted to us or by us.
We limit access to your personal information to those who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information to carry out their jobs.

12.1 Automated decisions are defined as decisions about individuals that are based solely on the automated processing of data and that produce legal effects that significantly affect the individuals involved.
12.2 As a rule, your personal data will not be used for automated decision-making. We do not base any decisions about you solely on the automated processing of your personal data.
